WorldConnect DB: A while back I uploaded a GEDCOM to Rootsweb's WorldConnect that provides much of the ancestry covered by this site. It's useful as a starting point, but (sadly) is mostly undocumented. The main goal of this site is to document those lines.

Ancestry Search
A cool new feature Ancestry provides in their search results is the "Find other people looking for..." Go ahead and try it. Type in a name, and then below the resulting search results click on the "Find other people looking for ..." link. Pretty nifty! The "Did you know" link there also has some very useful information.

I came across a couple of interesting (large) images showing Hanks lines going back to John Hanks of 1470. One of the images (the one on the right) ends with Ephraim Hanks' family. I mentioned the site before in this post. The site, http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~hanks/ is a great resource for anyone doing Hanks genealogy research.
